We spent two nights at Camp Alpsafari with our camper and were very satisfied overall. The view was just incredible and impressed us. The surrounding nature and mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop that we really enjoyed. The camp staff was very friendly and helpful. They were always eager to make our stay comfortable and answer our questions. We felt welcome and well taken care of. However, one small drawback was that the restaurant only opened from 17:00. This was a bit inconvenient as we would have liked to have dinner earlier. It would have been nice if there was also an option for earlier meals. Another point that bothered us a bit was the fact that it was not ideal for small dogs. Because of the leash requirement, there was nowhere for them to really run around and get exercise. This was a shame, as we would have loved to let our dog run around freely to get enough exercise. A dedicated area or fenced area for dogs would have solved the problem. Overall, however, we had a lovely stay at Camp Alpsafari. The impressive views and friendly staff outweighed the positive impressions. With some small improvements, like an earlier opening time of the restaurant and a better possibility for small dogs to have enough run, the camp could become even more attractive.
