Gantrisch Camp (ein Platz für dich alleine)

The spot is in a magnificent location. We had pure togetherness and a campfire. You have to expect that the farmers are still working in the field until late in the evening, as was the case for us. In the morning we were woken by the silence and a few cowbells. It was wonderful.

The site is really beautifully located and in the middle of nature. It's also great for dogs, and we really enjoyed the peace and the beautiful surroundings. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were neither greeted nor given any instructions. Only when I asked about the wood for the fire bowl did someone briefly come by and bring us the wood. Especially at a nature campsite like this, we would have liked a bit more warmth and a brief personal welcome. The wood for the fire bowl costs an additional CHF 10, but we found the amount rather meager. In addition, there were a lot of apples lying around that were already fermenting strongly and smelled accordingly of alcohol. As a result, unfortunately, there were also a lot of fruit flies. Despite these points, overall we had a nice time. The location and the place itself are really great – with a bit more care, warmth, and maintenance, it would be a truly perfect campsite for us.

Camping under the apple trees was very beautiful and the sunset was stunning. It felt like 'wild camping'. Thank you for the lovely experience.

The stay at Markus's place was fantastic 😍 we were able to park the camper under the apple trees and had great cool shade. Very clean toilet and a water hose was also available on the site. The view of the mountains was sensational. Hiking and walking trails with the dog right on the doorstep. We will definitely be back!!

Great place: clean, quiet, and well-equipped. Beautiful view of the surrounding valleys.
