The Caldera is a family business, we raise Wagyu cows, a Japanese breed with tender and delicious meat.

For a stopover just okay. We are accustomed to and other standard of Nomady pitches. Was rather noisy (directly on the main road), toilet & shower not clean. The 2nd star gibts only because we were allowed to arrive after midnight.

Giulia is a very beautiful person, she has a lot to say in very good French 😃 we had a very good contact with her, and the location, she did her best so that we were in the shade during a scorching day. We're on a farm, rubbing shoulders with cows, dogs, chickens and flies, a total change of scenery! You can buy cheese and meat produced on the organic farm. Sanitary facilities are clean and shared with employees during the day.

Giulia is a very nice woman. We needed to call her an hour before arrival. Then she called us back and asked us if we can come an half an hour later because there was a tractor on the field. We said that was okay but it was strange. When we came there, the tractor was still on the field and Giulia showed us where to sleep. It was on the same field and there was cow shit everywhere. We needed to put our tent between it. It was grose! Also the toilet and shower wheren’t cleaned up, she needed to do it. We booked the campsite for two nights, but we left after one. If we would know this before, we would not booked this. We would also not recommend this. All our stuff smells likes cow shit.

Very uncomplicated and helpful hosts. The courtyard looks dingy and messy. The bathroom is functional. The location is perfect - good ov connection

We were there for 3 nights with the tent and we and our children liked it very much. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, we were also allowed to use their kitchen and refrigerator. And they also provided us with a pavilion for sun protection. The toilet and shower is next to the barn and also used by the farm staff. For us this was a perfect fit. We will be happy to come again.

We liked the overnight stay at Giulia. We were there 3 nights in the tent. What we did not like so much, the proximity to the road. This would not be a problem if there are not people with their noisy motorcycles in the morning to work, we were in the tent. The shortest way to the toilet is through the stable, you have to look where you step. Shower and toilet were functional and are in a small annex to the stable. Positive was Giulia and her staff. Very helpful, very good communication, the small farm store. The central location in Ticino. What should perhaps be mentioned, in the Origilosee is bathing ban and nature reserve that has our 3 children first very disappointed. After that they liked the walk and feed the ducks. All in all, we found it really good.

The hosts were very cordial and spontaneous. We could spend the night there only one hour after the booking request. The fire bowl incl. enough wood was provided to us. The site is located between the football field of the school, a well-traveled road and a walking path. This makes the pitch very exposed. The noise from cars revving their engines was clearly audible in our roof tent, in a van this would certainly be less of a problem. The sanitary facilities were functional but already very dirty. In summary, you can say that you have everything you need at this site. For us, however, the price-performance ratio was not right.

Giulia is a great host, very open, sweet and helpful. The location was nice, we had a good view over the little town. Besides that it was very quite. There is a basic shower and toilet which was good for us.
