What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
The Rischbühl parking area is located on both the Kaiserstuhlpfad and the Bienenfresserpfad trails. It therefore serves as an ideal starting point for hikes in the Kaiserstuhl region. The entrance to the Bickensohl Loess Gorge Trail is just a few metres away.
Caravans are also very welcome on our pitches, provided they are self-sufficient and therefore not reliant on external infrastructure. Electricity and sanitary facilities are not available at our municipal pitches. If these conditions are not met, overnight stays in caravans on our pitches are not permitted.
Access is via Achkarren in the direction of Bickensohl. Follow the road uphill to Bickensohl. At a prominent bend, you will find the turn-off to the Rischbühl car park (signposted). Please follow the signs to the car park there.
According to the spa tax regulations of the town of Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl, all non-local persons staying in the municipality are required to register and pay the spa tax. The spa tax of €2.00 per person aged 15 and over (from 2027: €2.50 per person) or €1.00 for children (from 2027: €1.50 per person) is transferred directly during the booking process.
In return, you will receive the KONUS guest card. With the KONUS guest card, you enjoy numerous discounts and free use of public transport between Karlsruhe and Basel throughout the Black Forest. You can obtain your guest card directly on site at the Citizens' and Guests' Information Office in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil, or you can request it digitally. Please refer to the information in the booking details section.
The Citizens' and Guests' Information Office is currently open as follows:
Monday to Friday 8:00–12:30 and 14:00–16:00

Notes on the facilities
Municipal charging stations for electric cars are located at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil (Bahnhofstraße 20) and at Im Riedgarten in Vogtsburg-Bickensohl. Additional charging points will be put into operation soon in Achkarren, Oberbergen, and Bischoffingen.
In front of the citizen and guest information center, there are also three free charging stations (each with 2 sockets) for e-bikes or small electrical devices (e.g., mobile phones). These charging stations can be used for a maximum of 12 hours. Please bring your own charger. A publicly accessible, free Wi-Fi is available at the town hall in Vogtsburg-Burkheim, Mittelstadt 7. There is also a public restroom at this location.
The Vogtsburg supply and disposal station as well as the fresh water station are located directly next to the Oberrotweil swimming pool and can be used for a fee.

The cutoff is the latest check-in time set for this spot — not the end of the calendar day. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. In Vogtsburg-Oberrotweil there is a large EDEKA supermarket as well as a bakery with a café. Numerous restaurants – from rustic wine taverns to Michelin-starred dining – can be found in Vogtsburg i.K. Village and farm shops are available in V.-Achkarren, V.-Bischoffingen, and V.-Burkheim. A small cheese shop can be found in Vogtsburg-Bickensohl (Neunlindenstraße 25). Regional and seasonal fruit and vegetables are available at various stands in Vogtsburg i.K. as well as at the Neumühle fruit farm. At the winegrowers' cooperative in Vogtsburg-Oberbergen, there is a 24-hour SHOP "Dorfmetzgerei 2.0". More cafés await in the historic Burkheim old town or in Vogtsburg-Achkarren. In Burkheim you will also find the Burkheimer Kräuterhof with countless spices and much more. A large selection of sparkling wine, wine, and non-alcoholic specialties are available in our around 30 wineries and winegrowers' cooperatives. *TIP* Bickensohl Loess Hollow Ways Trail - Length: 7 km
On this circular hike, you'll discover everything about the formation and maintenance of the hollow ways. Around Bickensohl, some of the most impressive loess hollow ways in the entire Kaiserstuhl region are clustered. The Loess Hollow Ways Trail connects these on an attractive circular route of just under 7 km. Seventeen information panels provide extensive details on the topic of loess, the formation and care of the hollow ways, the fascinating communities living in the loess walls, and the terraced vineyards. Of course, the pure hiking experience should not be overlooked. That's why you'll find no information panels on some sections of this local themed trail, but instead, fascinating views and comfortable hiking paths.

The peace and quiet is simply brilliant. Ground quite uneven. Access road very narrow and steep.
