A vast network of hiking and cycling trails leads you along the lakeshore, through charming old towns, and over green hills. From up here, you can enjoy a spectacular panorama that, on clear days, stretches from the Glarus Alps over Rigi, Titlis, and Pilatus, all the way to Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.

Lake Sempach isn't just for swimming – here you can try Stand-Up Paddling (SUP), learn windsurfing, or simply relax on the water. The deep red sunsets, which bathe the lake in a magical light, are particularly atmospheric.

Besides nature, the region also has a lot to offer culturally. The historic towns of Sursee and Sempach invite you to stroll around, while cozy cafés and restaurants tempt you with regional specialties. The Sempach Bird Observatory offers a special experience, providing fascinating insights into the local birdlife. And for those seeking the unexpected, the Caribbean Village Nottwil will surprise you with its exotic flair.

Your delightful retreat is nestled in Nottwil, above Lake Sempach, offering magnificent panoramic views of the lake, the mountains, and the expansive Sursee region.

To reach the camp, you'll drive past the farmhouse of our 'Schürli' farm. Here, you can relax peacefully on the sun loungers and soak in the views of the lake, mountains, and cherry trees. Just 40 meters away, in our laundry room, you'll find the WC and water. Firewood and a grill are also provided, along with benches and a table.

This location is an ideal starting point for biking and hiking tours. The Willisau - Zug 'Herzroute' (Heart Route) cycling path passes very close by.

Many activities can be enjoyed on or around Lake Sempach, such as a SUP tour. And the numerous forests in the surrounding area invite you to explore.

Sun loungers, a cozy fire pit with a barbecue, and covered seating areas invite you to relax and enjoy. A refrigerator is available upon request for your convenience.

You have the option to barbecue right on-site. Nottwil also boasts several restaurants, all within walking distance (approx. 25 mins from the camp). In the village, you'll find various shopping opportunities (Spar/Denner/Coop) as well as a bakery with a charming small café.
