How do I search for a camp in a specific area?

You can use the search field to search for regions as well as specific locations. Then use the zoom function on the map to determine the radius. You can also move freely on the map to find more offers.

How do I book an offer?

On the camp page you will find a few fields on the right. Select your desired date, the number of people and the number of places required. Once you have made this selection, you can proceed with the booking and click on the corresponding button. On the next page, we ask you to write a message to the host, where you can also redeem vouchers or discount codes. You then continue to the payment page, where you enter your payment information and after clicking on the "Confirm payment" button you will automatically be taken to the booking overview. With the booking request, your booking is only final once the host has confirmed it. Your credit card will be charged with the booking confirmation.

Bookings can be made 12 months in advance. So you can plan your vacation perfectly.

What do "direct booking" and "booking request" mean?

If you book directly, the booking is confirmed immediately. If you are in a hurry, you should filter by direct booking. When making a booking request, the host must first manually accept or reject your booking. A booking is only final once it has been accepted. The host will reply to you as soon as possible. Please note that many of our hosts are farmers who do not have permanent access to the Internet and cell phones. So please give them a little patience.

Can I book several seats in one transaction?

Yes, you can either set your "requirements" directly via the filter options or increase the places directly at the camp.

How is the price calculated?

The prices of an offer are determined by the host himself. They have various options for setting up a price model that suits them. Furthermore, the Nomady service fee is added to the set price. If a tourist tax is required, this is also added directly and paid separately by the host. The exact price composition will be displayed during and after the booking.

How do I contact hosts?

In the offer you will find a lot of information about the camp and the host. After a booking inquiry or direct booking, you will be given the opportunity to contact/inform the host. This is usually used, for example, to clarify arrival and detailed questions.

In order to protect the privacy of the host and to prevent "bombardment" with questions, you can only contact them after the booking has been made. There is currently no other option. Our hosts are often farmers or professionals who have other jobs and use Nomady as a sideline. In order to protect them from a large number of inquiries, we try to clarify all questions and limit the function of the messages.

With the booking confirmation, you will also receive access to a booking overview. Here you will find the exact location and route to the camp, further information about the offer and the telephone number of the hosts.

Where can I see my past trips?

Question 12

What does it mean when a camp is "verified"?

Verified means that a Nomady scout has verified the accuracy of the information on site and has usually also photographed the camp.

How can I cancel a booking?

Under "Your bookings" you can view your planned and past trips. Simply click on the relevant booking. Below the booking overview, you can cancel the booking in accordance with your host's instructions. Please check the cancellation conditions first, which you will also find there.

What cancelation options are available?

There are six cancellation options:

Super Flex: Campers have the option to cancel at check-in time on the date of arrival and receive a full refund of the booking amount minus the service fee. The check-in time on the arrival date is decisive for the calculation of the deadline.

Flex: Campers have the option of canceling up to 24 hours before arrival and will be refunded the full booking amount minus the service fee. The check-in time on the arrival date (minus 24 hours) is decisive for the calculation of the deadline.

Easy: Campers have the option of canceling up to 3 days before arrival and will be refunded the full booking amount minus the service fee. The check-in time on the date of arrival (minus three calendar days) is decisive for the calculation of the deadline.

Medium: Campers have the option of canceling up to 10 days before arrival and will receive a full refund of the booking amount minus the service fee. The check-in time on the arrival date is decisive for the calculation of the deadline (minus ten calendar days).

Strict: Campers have the option of canceling up to 30 days prior to arrival and will receive a full refund of the booking amount minus the service fee. The check-in time on the date of arrival (minus thirty calendar days) is decisive for the calculation of the deadline.

None: Campers do not have the option to cancel. The entire booking amount including the service fee will be charged, even if the camp is not used during the booked period. A refund is excluded.

Can I light a fire?

When making a fire, please use the fire bowl or fire pit provided. If this offer is missing and the fire symbol is not active in the offer, you will unfortunately have to do without it. If there are any uncertainties, please ask the hosts. If there are national or local regulations or fire bans due to the risk of forest fires, these naturally also apply to the Nomady camps. We ask you to follow the instructions and wishes of your hosts.

Where do I go to the toilet?

Most camps offer a toilet, please use it. It may happen that there are no sanitary facilities at certain camps. This information can always be found in the camp description. Please follow the instructions and rules of "leave no trace" when doing your business. Here is a video.

At Nomady, campers and hosts can submit a rating. By allowing hosts and campers to rate each other, we want to create transparency and cultivate respectful interaction with each other and with nature.

How can I submit a rating?

Accepted Answer

Submitting a rating is voluntary and does not happen automatically. The process works as follows: After the stay, both parties are asked to write a review. In the first week after the stay, you will only be able to view the other person's rating if you also write a rating. After one week, mutual but also one-sided reviews become public.

Is it possible to delete reviews?

The rating function is very helpful in providing a transparent picture of the camper, host and camp. We rely on respectful and truthful treatment in accordance with our Nomady Pact.

For the sake of transparency, neither campers nor hosts can change or delete their reviews. However, if a review is incorrect or offensive, please contact us.

What if I have had a bad experience with a host?

We are sorry that you had a bad experience. In order to keep the reviews truthful and transparent, both positive and negative feedback are justified. Please describe your experience constructively, objectively, truthfully and in a respectful tone. Please seek a discussion with the host and describe what you did not like. Please contact us if a public review is not appropriate.

Select "Reset password" in the login screen. Enter the email address to which your profile is linked. We will send you an email to this address with a link and the option to reset your password. You will then be asked to define and confirm a new password. Now all you have to do is log in again.
