The Jubelitzsee is a nearly 11-hectare natural area, featuring trees, meadows, moorland, reeds, and a now smaller lake section (though swimming is not permitted there). This area boasts incredible biodiversity. You'll find a wide variety of birds, including birds of prey (which also breed here), amphibians, as well as red deer, wild boar, foxes, and more. If you move quietly and cautiously and take some time to observe, you're likely to spot them.
The old center of Fahrland, the village core, is approximately 200m from the entrance. Here, you'll find a bakery with a cafe, a restaurant, a smokehouse, a hairdresser, and shops for daily necessities. Several buildings and the church are also well worth a visit.
The Fahrlander See (Lake Fahrland) is about 500m away.
Immediately past the entrance gate to the property, there's a small, semi-paved parking area with trees, which is well-suited for larger campers.
A little further along an unpaved path, near an adjacent farm building, there's another smaller parking spot directly next to a small field, under/next to trees. This spot is great for vehicles up to the size of a VW Bulli. All-wheel drive can be very helpful in heavy rain.
Adjacent to the property are horse paddocks with goats and horses grazing in a pasture.
From the pitch, you can embark on extensive walks along field paths, through fields and meadows.
Please note, there are no sanitary facilities or waste disposal options on site. Guest Wi-Fi is available in the front parking area, as is solar power, which can be used by arrangement if the sun is shining. Use of the areas is at your own risk.
