Here, you'll often spot wild animals from your pitch in the late evening or early morning. A true highlight is the annual deer rut (September 20th - October 10th), as all pitches are directly adjacent to the meadows near the large forest. If you want to experience the king of the forest up close, you have an excellent chance here. The imposing roar of the stags can be heard for miles in good weather. The deer even come right up to your campervan at night...

Our current infrastructure for camping guests includes:
- Scullery with a small shop (regional products)
- Toilet with washbasin
- Outdoor shower (hot and cold water)
- Washing machine

In the scullery, you'll find power outlets for connecting your camper. You can also refill your fresh water tank from here. We do not offer grey and black water disposal (however, there's a disposal station 10km away where you can dispose of waste for €2. It's located next to a beautiful 30m high observation tower, which is also worth a visit).

Oberdalmerscheid, a hamlet in the municipality of Hellenthal, comprises only 7 houses (minimal light pollution), so you can see the Milky Way on clear nights.

But the surrounding region is far from sleepy! The well-signposted hiking and mountain biking routes in the immediate vicinity are very popular.

Please note: There are no greywater or blackwater disposal facilities available.

All shops are within a maximum 15-minute drive. However, on certain days of the week, a baker, egg delivery service, and a mobile shop come directly to the house.

Just 12km away, you'll find the 'Weißer Stein' winter sports region near Udenbreth (690m above sea level). When the snow conditions are right, this is where all the action happens! :)

A true highlight is the annual deer rut (Sept 20th – Oct 20th), as all pitches are located directly by the meadows near the large forest. If you want to experience the 'King of the Forest' up close, this is the place to be. In good weather, the impressive roaring of the stags can be heard for miles. Here, the deer might even come right up to your motorhome at night...
