Nestled within a park-like estate, Bischofsburg Burgliebenau is beautifully situated on an old arm of the Weiße Elster river. Our family is dedicated to restoring and bringing this 1186 castle complex to life through small cultural events. The spot itself is directly in the lush greenery, right by the water, beneath the medieval castle wall.

For the warmer months, we offer an outdoor shower with refreshing cold water. The local lake also boasts excellent water quality, perfect for a dip! We provide our guests with a small selection of regional beverage specialties and products from the local Manor House Culture Publishing. Additionally, you can arrange a guided tour of the estate with the castle lord himself. Bicycles are available for rent, subject to availability.
