Nestled within a park-like estate, Bischofsburg Burgliebenau is beautifully situated on an old arm of the Weiße Elster river. Our family is dedicated to restoring and bringing this 1186 castle complex to life through small cultural events. The spot itself is directly in the lush greenery, right by the water, beneath the medieval castle wall.

A great pitch, but only conditionally suitable for alcove or high vehicles. Very friendly host, and a nice spot. Unfortunately, the access road is very narrow and branches scratch the vehicle. In unfavorable wind conditions, Halle/Leipzig airport starts to get on your nerves from 3:00 AM.

It was a beautiful setting to camp in front of the castle wall. The hosts were also always concerned about our well-being. The icing on the cake was the castle tour with its history. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely come back.

A beautiful pitch in a private, shady garden close to the water, with electricity, toilet facilities, and very friendly hosts. Not only dogs will enjoy the diverse impressions in this peaceful piece of nature. Lake Wallendorf, where you can also swim, is just a ten-minute walk away.
