Our small, secluded alpine meadow is located in the municipality of Luthern, one of the most beautiful villages in Switzerland. Access is paved to within a few meters of the site, and the village is just a 20-minute drive away. The stunning views towards the Napf, Mount Pilatus, the Mittelland, and the Jura mountains are simply dreamlike.

It's quite possible that we might be around upstairs (garden, pasture, or forest) during your stay: don't let it disturb you, and feel free to chat with us!

The cabin and the camp are never rented to different guests simultaneously: you'll have the entire camp all to yourselves!
Cancellation
Easy
You can cancel up to 3 days before the latest check-in time on the arrival day. The refund includes the booking amount minus 1.5x the displayed Nomady fee. The cutoff is the latest check-in time of this spot — not midnight. Cancellations apply to the entire booking including extra products. Partial cancellations are not possible. Cancellations are only accepted via the designated cancellation tool. Verbal or written agreements cannot be taken into account. You can find out how to cancel in our FAQs.

A total lucky find! With a dreamlike panorama and great hiking opportunities
The spot at Alp Birbäumli is a dream—secluded and remote in the beautiful Napf region. You are welcome to use the house, which includes a toilet and shower with hot water, a fountain in front of the house, and a covered, wind-protected seating area. Everything is clean, tidy, and clearly maintained with care. We felt very much at home and would have loved to stay a bit longer—perhaps another time!
The stay was great. We felt very comfortable and it is incredibly quiet in this beautiful area.
Thank you for three truly wonderful days at the Bierbäumli alpine hut. We stayed there with our roof tent, had a super beautiful pitch, and a really great view of the mountain panorama. There were seating areas, sun loungers, a grill with a grate, and even a shower and toilet. Hiking trails are located right by the hut. We felt very comfortable and the contact with Caroline was also very pleasant and friendly. We will definitely be back.
A wonderful place! Even a wild rabbit stopped by for a moment 🥰! Okay, we unfortunately couldn't find the switch for the air conditioning *laugh*! A really great spot, everything clean and tidy! Oh yes, the directions on the PDF we received were awesome, you can't get lost 😅💪👍... only the 'Welcome to Luthern' sign at the entrance, we searched for that for a long time 😂.. so our conclusion is, it doesn't exist 🤔🤣.
Lovely host! We felt completely at home, felt perfectly relaxed, and it certainly won't be our last time there! Many thanks!
