The beach is just 30 meters from the campsite. Here, you can go swimming and also enjoy fishing during permitted hours. The promenade is lined with a pedestrian and cycle path, perfect for taking a relaxing stroll. Excursions to Mount Etna can also be booked directly from the campsite.

Located in the heart of one of Sicily's most beautiful tourist regions, campers can easily reach Mount Etna—Europe's highest and most impressive volcano—in just a few minutes by car, as well as Taormina, the Alcantara Gorges, Catania, Acireale, Syracuse, and other towns rich in history and art.

You can also take a scenic tour around the volcano aboard the local "CircumEtnea" train.

Mokambo is the only campsite in Sicily from which you can admire the complete panoramic view of Mount Etna.
