Fröhliche Aussicht

Sebastian is a super friendly host who took the time for us in the evening despite the inn being full, so that we could use the electricity. The site itself is really beautiful, with a lovely (cheerful 😉) view out the back. The pitches are also well-prepared. However, we stayed there during the week and it was simply too noisy for us, which is why we moved on after one night (we had planned for two). So, it's great as a stopover for long trips and/or for guests who aren't sensitive to noise! :) There are some nice walks directly from the site, and the Easter menu at the inn sounded delicious too!

Very friendly and everything was super relaxed.

Great quiet pitch with electricity. The only thing is you need a long power cable. Right next to the 'Fröhliche Aussicht' restaurant, which is open on Saturdays and Sundays. 6km to Altusried. The Iller cycle path starts right outside the door. Ideal for excursions in the surrounding area (suspension bridge, League observation tower, Rapunzel factory, Iller breakthrough). Happy to come again.

We're not sensitive, but the spot was too noisy for us. We left again.

The pitches are okay (slightly sloping - ramps recommended). The nearby road can be heard, but it was fine. The view from the pitches over the fields is beautiful. We had the leftmost pitch. To get electricity there, a 50m extension cable (provided by the operators) has to be connected from a shed. Together with our own 25m cable and a Schuko adapter, the electricity then worked. On the day of our overnight stay, we messaged Carina in the early afternoon to ask when we would arrive and if there was anything else we needed to know. Unfortunately, we received no reply. When we arrived and didn't know where to get electricity from (no signs or instructions), we tried to reach Carina by phone (shortly before 10 PM) at the number provided. Unfortunately, no one answered. We also didn't receive a call back. We then asked at one of the other pitches and were kindly helped :) We used the spot as an overnight stop during a longer journey, and for that, it was very practical.
