A true escape from time, nestled at the edge of the forest in the Ciliegio Tent, equipped with a double bed, sofa, and cushions, a wooden deck with table and chairs, a private bathroom with sink, shower, and hot water, a solarium area, hammocks, and... 650 square meters of forest and meadows exclusively reserved for you, where from May to the end of June you can also enjoy the sweet fruits of the sloe and wild cherry trees.

LUNCH and BREAKFAST IN THE TENT, a PICNIC BASKET, or an aperitif on our suspended net "RELAX AMONG THE FRONDS" are available upon request.

Around the fields, you can take short or long walks along the paths, climb Monte Rosso, pass through the "Grotte", relax on the "Pulpit in the Woods", or disconnect even further by ascending to the viewpoint high above the fields, a true natural sanctuary in the "macchia mediterranea", with limestone steps facing south over the slopes of the Pliocene foothills, precisely on the old Gothic Line of World War II, now an oasis of peace and serenity.

At our charming Agriturismo, we pride ourselves on offering simple yet exquisitely presented cuisine, with an unwavering focus on the quality of our ingredients – all of which are organic. Our culinary philosophy is rooted in using raw materials grown either by us or sourced from organic farms nestled in the picturesque Bolognese hills. Our menu is a delightful reflection of seasonal availability, creatively adapting to incorporate wild flowers and herbs, while also honoring the rich traditions of Italian gastronomy. We warmly welcome vegetarians and vegans with a plethora of enticing options and pay special attention to guests with allergies to gluten or lactose, ensuring everyone can savor our delicious offerings.

A staple on our menu are our homemade Tortelloni and Balanzoni, crafted with fresh wholemeal type 1 flour and creamy sheep's milk ricotta. Our Balanzoni also feature a delightful addition of mortadella. You'll also find our freshly made, homemade Tagliatelle. To start, we serve slices of our homemade Romagna-style Piadina, also made with fresh wholemeal type 1 flour, available in a vegan version, accompanied by a flavorful sauce and fresh vegetables served pinzimonio-style. For your main course, always look forward to our mixed platter, a true feast of delicacies including bites of sausage, cold cuts, sheep and goat cheeses, vegetable sauces, seasonal vegetables, small salads, and samples of hummus or cecina.

Complement your meal with organic craft beers from the Samoggia Valley and beyond, or choose from our selection of local and national organic wines.

Although we are quite close to the city, the nature surrounding us is the biggest surprise and attraction. In the Pliocene Spur Nature Reserve, there's a vast diversity of fauna and flora to observe, in all seasons. The Contrafforte ridge stretches east to west, with its southern side characterized by unexpected Mediterranean flora, while the northern side boasts an alpine character.

Around the farm, there are many short and long paths perfect for walking and enjoying the scenery. You can explore the forest path around the fields, visit the cave, discover the viewpoint on the steep slope, find the 'pulpit' in the woods, hike to the summit of Monte Rosso, or visit the Sanctuary of Monte delle Formiche. Additionally, there are the various well-marked trails of the 'Path of Friends'. For more challenging hikes, there are also well-marked CAI (Italian Alpine Club) trails that can take several hours to complete. We offer the option to rent an e-bike to explore many of these trails.

For unique experiences, you can try ethical horse training at the Red Rose Ranch (10 minutes away), go caving in the Parco dei Gessi Bolognesi (25 minutes), or spend a beautiful day at Lago di Bilancino or Rocchetta Mattei (both an hour away). You can also learn a lot about the starry sky at the Astronomical Station and Star Park in Loiano (20 minutes).

To delve into history, visit the National Etruscan Museum and the archaeological excavations of Kainua in Marzabotto (40 minutes), or the Monte Sole Historical Park (55 minutes). If you have time, a day trip to Florence is highly recommended (an hour and a half away).

For lovers of gastronomic culture, Bologna (a 40-minute drive) has so much to offer: numerous food tours, vibrant markets to explore, and shops and restaurants where you can buy local products. Between meals, stroll through the old town's alleys, visit the Gothic Basilica of San Petronio, the Asinelli Tower, and the Archaeological Museum to get a sense of the city's rich history.
