Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

Winter description

In winter, the Thaya Valley is also highly recommended for hiking, where you can revel in its extraordinary and magical tranquility. Please note that our parking area is not cleared of snow or gritted. Therefore, access is at your own risk. The National Park House is closed from November 2nd to March 20th.
