Naturnah am Jubelitzsee

The Jubelitzsee is a natural area of just under 11 hectares, with trees / meadows, moorland, reeds and a now smaller lake area (where you cannot swim, however). Many different animal species live there: birds & birds of prey / amphibians / red and black game / foxes / beavers etc. If you move quietly and carefully, you can observe them well. From the entrance to the village centre, the old centre of Fahrland, it is about 200 m. Here there is a bakery with café, a restaurant, a smokehouse and a hairdresser as well as shops for daily needs. One or two buildings as well as the church are also well worth seeing. The Fahrlander See is about 500 m away; the geographical centre of the state of Brandenburg is also located there. In the surrounding area there are quite a few lakes, Potsdam centre is not far either, and Berlin is also easily reachable by public transport. Behind the access gate of the property there is directly a small, semi-paved parking area with a solar system, quite suitable for larger campers. (There is also a wallbox up to 22 kW for charging electric cars, but use must be arranged in advance and is optional.) A little further on, along an unpaved path, near an adjacent farm building, there are further parking options directly next to a small field under/next to trees. Here you can park well with a vehicle up to Sprinter size. Off-road capability can be very helpful in heavy rain. Adjacent to the property are horse paddocks with goats and horses in a pasture. There are no sanitary facilities on site and no options for waste or grey water disposal. Guest Wi-Fi is available in the front parking area. Use of and access to the areas is at your own risk.
