Meine Hündin Ola und ich waren im Februar im Schwanennest und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Ich kann mich den anderen Bewertenden nur anschließen: Das Schwanennest ist ein toller, liebevoll und praktisch gestalteter Ort! Auch im Winter bei Frost oder Regenwetter (hatte beides) sehr zu empfehlen. Dank Ofen war es nie zu kalt, und Dank Trockenvorrichtung waren die nassen Schuhe und Socken am nächsten Tag immer wieder einsatzbereit. Die Außenküche ist der Hammer! Hier noch Hinweise für Rucksack- und ÖPNV Reisende: Das Schwanennest ist sehr gut erreichbar (Haltestelle Breidenstein Schlossstraße) und vom Bahnhof Wallau kommt man gut nach Marburg (für einen Städteausflug). Man kann auch schön nach Biedenkopf wandern und von dort nach Marburg fahren... Lebensmittel etc. bekommt man gut in Breidenbach, dort ist man zu Fuß in ca. 30 Minuten. Gut im Gepäck zu haben: Crocs oder ähnliche Schuhe, eine Stirnlampe zum Lesen oder Handarbeit und eine Powerbank (Handy bei Kälte draußen an der Kadestation laden kann schwierig sein). Es war herrlich und wir müssen mal wieder kommen, wenn die Schlehen und Weißdorn blühen!
Meine zwei Hunde und ich haben eine kleine Auszeit im Schwanennest verbracht. Absolut tolle Location. So viel Liebe und Aufmerksamkeit steckt in jedem Detail! Hier kommt man zur Ruhe, genießt die Natur und der eingezäunte Garten ist ein Traum für Hundebesitzer!
