Park Overnight

What is that?
Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.
Picturesquely nestled between steep rock faces lies the Hintersee, a popular destination for excursions. The head of the Felbertal valley is defined by this mountain lake, which was formed by a rockfall in 1495. The ice-cold water is so crystal clear that you can see right to the bottom and watch the fish swimming about. Just a few meters from the lake, there is a large parking area for day visitors, where up to 10 spaces can also be used as pitches for campers. Toilets with sinks are available…

Beautiful spot, great location, and everything went smoothly. It would be even better if there was electricity available. But overall, I'm completely satisfied and will definitely be back.
It is a great parking spot just a few meters from Hintersee with a beautiful mountain backdrop. It consists of one of three parking levels: day guests at the bottom, campers at the top. There are also modern 24/7 toilets available that are cleaned regularly. We will be back!
The cleanliness of the toilets leaves a lot to be desired—the turnover of day visitors is enormous, and there is generally a lot of trash in the parking lot, despite numerous signs in ALL languages. Picturesquely nestled, the lake is something very special; nevertheless, the lake is completely overrun by Muslim pilgrims. The nights are quiet.
Nice spot. Well signposted. As stated on-site, there are no showers, but there are trash cans.
