Stellplatz Naturjuwel Hintersee

The view is incredible. The site is majestic. There were only three of us in the evening, though it gets busier during the day. The pitches are located at the very top of the lake parking lot. The toilets are cleaned regularly.

The pitch is great and highly recommended! The on-site toilets are very clean; cleaning staff were there in the evening. What doesn't work is the QR code payment because there is no mobile reception! It wasn't possible to pay directly with the woman at the checkout or at the automated machine. However, a ranger came in the morning hours, noted down license plates, and looked inside the vehicles. It makes you feel like a crook who hasn't paid or doesn't want to. When I finally had reception in the valley in the afternoon, I couldn't even enter the stay from the previous night and had to book for a night later when I wasn't even there anymore! Urgent need for change!!! Otherwise, the pitch and the landscape are dreamlike. Many Muslims visit the place for a few minutes to hours in crowds from early to late, even during thunderstorms...

The site is great and the proximity to the lake is too, but... There is a lot of trash around the lake and at the pitches, left behind by the crowds of Arabic tourists. You don't really feel comfortable there.

Beautiful, quiet spot with well-maintained toilets and great views!
