Sur la Croix

Despite being located away from the village, we were woken up by passing cars. The site is exposed to the wind, which didn't help our sleep given we had a roof tent. However, the view is lovely, and tables, bins, and some food products are provided.

Everything was as described. We spent a quiet night at the top of the pass. The road and the cows didn't bother us. We were able to enjoy the evening and morning in front of our motorhome and go for a nice walk with the dog. We bought delicious dried beef sausage and honey-yogurt ice cream from the fridge provided. Both were very tasty! We were allowed to pay in €. Many thanks also to Ariane for the friendly contact via chat!

The starry sky was beautiful and it was very quiet at night. Straightforward hosts. It was great.

Sehr schöner Stellplatz auf der Passhöhe des Col de la Croix mit Blick ins Grüne und auf die Kuhweide. Die Passstrasse ist gleich nebenan, aber in der Nacht ist es ruhig.

Schöner, sehr ruhiger Platz. Ideal mit Hunden den 1. August zu feiern. Eindrückliche Aussicht. Gerne wieder.
