Voucher conditions

1.1 These terms and conditions for the purchase of a voucher via the online platform www.nomady.camp ("Terms and Conditions") govern the rights and obligations of the contracting parties when purchasing a voucher via the online platform www.nomady.camp.

1.2 The "Terms of Use Online Platform www.nomady.camp (GTC)" (hereinafter "GTC") form an integral part of these Terms. Should these terms and conditions contradict the GTC, these terms and conditions shall take precedence.

1.3 Nomady's voucher offer is based exclusively on these terms and conditions. Any terms and conditions of users do not apply. This also applies if Nomady has not expressly objected to the terms and conditions of users.

2.1 The voucher is in the form of a voucher code that you can enter at checkout to pay for your booking on Nomady. It entitles you to pay the rental price agreed with the host as well as the Nomady fee.

2.2 The voucher gives you complete flexibility: if the price of your camping stay (camping and Nomady fee) is lower than the amount available on the voucher, the difference will remain on the voucher as a credit balance. The credit will be credited when you book another camping stay. However, you can also use the voucher if the price of the selected camping offer is higher than the amount of the voucher; in this case, you will settle the outstanding difference using the usual means of payment.

2.3 Cash payment of the voucher is excluded.

3.1 You can purchase the voucher directly via the Nomady website. As usual, we use the services of Stripe Connect to handle the payment process. Please refer to the provisions of the GTC.

3.2 You can order the voucher either in electronic or physical form.

3.3 Irrespective of whether the voucher is ordered in electronic or physical form, the contract is concluded with the order confirmation from Nomady ("conclusion of contract"). The physical voucher will be delivered to the person and address specified by you by A Mail. We will hand over the envelope to the post office no later than three working days after receipt of payment. With this handover, benefit and risk are transferred to you in accordance with Art. 185 OR. Nomady accepts no liability for any delays in delivery, loss of the voucher in the post or other poor performance on the part of Swiss Post.

4.1 The voucher can be redeemed on Nomady at any time during its period of validity. The currency of the booking and the voucher must match.

4.2 Cash payment is not possible.

4.3 Anyone who has knowledge of the voucher code can redeem it. The voucher is not personal and it is not necessary to present the voucher when redeeming it; it is sufficient to enter the voucher code in the form field provided for this purpose on the Nomady website.

4.4 Nomady accepts no liability for the unlawful redemption of a voucher without prior notification of loss (see below). Nomady is not obliged to clarify whether the person entering the voucher code is the legal owner of the voucher code.

5.1 Keep the voucher or voucher code safe and protect it from unauthorized access. Nomady accepts no liability for lost vouchers or voucher codes.

5.2 The forwarding of the voucher or voucher code is at your own risk. Nomady also rejects any liability for lost vouchers or voucher codes or their improper use.

5.3 Contact Nomady immediately if you do not receive an order confirmation or a voucher by email within five minutes of purchasing the voucher.

6.1 If the voucher or voucher code is lost, no replacement is possible. You are solely responsible for the loss.

6.2 The Nomady team will endeavor to find a good solution together with you, but without being obliged to do so or to guarantee a solution. However, your cooperation is necessary for this (see section 6.3 below). If you do not comply with section 6.3, a solution is ruled out from the outset and you will be fully responsible for the loss of the voucher.

6.3 In the event of loss, suspected loss, theft or risk of misuse of a voucher, you as the buyer are therefore obliged to notify Nomady immediately (e-mail or Nomady support chat). Please identify yourself (send scan ID or similar) so that we can ensure that we are dealing with the correct buyer. Please understand that the person you have gifted the voucher to cannot claim any rights under this section 6. For legal reasons, we can only seek a solution with you as the buyer.

7.1 The period of validity of the voucher can be found on the voucher itself.

8.1 There is no right of withdrawal.

9.1 Commercial and/or commercial resale of vouchers or voucher codes is prohibited unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10.1 Vouchers can only be redeemed if they are purchased directly from Nomady. If vouchers are purchased from third parties, the purchaser bears the risk of non-redeemability. Nomady is in no way liable for the value of vouchers obtained from sources other than the Nomady website. Bona fide acquisition of the voucher outside the Nomady website is excluded.

11.1 In all other respects, the GTC of August 2020 and the Privacy Policy apply. Both documents can be accessed at any time on the Nomady website.
