What makes a Nomady spot a true retreat?

Locations away from the city

Locations away from the city

Our hosts are farmers, foresters, mountain farms, organic estates, and people with a heart for silence. Many are located in valleys, at the edge of the forest, or in secluded spots. You get starry skies instead of city skylines.

2.

A small number of guests

No mass camping. Often there are only 1–3 campers on site at a time. That means less noise, more privacy, and more nature.

3.

Authentic surroundings instead of planned entertainment

With us, there are no party entertainment programs, no New Year's Eve shows with fireworks. You decide how you want to spend this evening. Make it truly yours!

Closer to moments in nature

While others stand in smoke at midnight, you can feel the crisp, fresh air on your face, listen to the quiet of the night, and maybe spot some wildlife. No noise drowning everything out.

New Year's Eve Camping FAQ

We cannot guarantee 100% absolute silence, as distant neighbours might set off private fireworks. However, many of our spots are so remote that you will only hear a distant rumble, if anything at all. That is exactly why we call it: your retreat for New Year's Eve.

At many pitches, yes! Simply look for the “Dogs welcome” filter. Feel free to mention in your booking request that you are deliberately looking for a quiet spot because your dog is afraid of fireworks.

No. That is precisely not the idea. Many hosts deliberately do not allow fireworks in order to protect wildlife, farm animals, nature, and the neighbourhood. Please respect this.

This varies depending on the spot. Some pitches are completely self-sufficient, while many offer farm facilities. You will always find the exact details in the spot description and can also filter for amenities beforehand.

Yes! There are small cabins, Tiny Houses, shepherd's huts, and sometimes simple guest rooms directly on the farm. Perfect if you don't have your own vehicle but still want a peaceful start to the new year.
