...a small piece of nature and tranquility in Wiesholz, surrounded by seasonal organic vegetable fields, 7 km away from Stein am Rhein (Lake Constance and Rhine). A little paradise you will find in the middle of greenery, surrounded by trees, meadows and vegetable fields.
The camp is quietly located in the district of Wiesholz, about 7 km from Stein am Rhein (Lake Constance and the Rhine). We are directly on the bike path, a few meters away from the German border and with a view of the castle Hohentwiel/D. The camp is located on a beautiful meadow between fruit trees, depending on the season and harvest luck there are cherries, plums, apples, pears, berries and tree nuts. Lots of privacy and pure relaxation factor are guaranteed. In the village, from mid-May to mid-September, there is also a swimming pool with a children's paddling pool, and other lake and Rhine swimming pools are nearby. In the village is a large Migros, which is open daily. Accessibility CH/D also via public transport (stop Petersburg, about 1 km). Other attractions are Schaffhausen, the town of 171 oriels, the Rhine Falls in Neuhausen am Rheinfall as well as the Adventure Climbing Park there and the miniature world SMILESTONES. Mountain bike routes, castle walks are available at the Schienerberg, bike tours around the Höri, Lake Constance, etc.. Other destinations for excursions are the island of Mainau, Singen, Constance... Looking for a good restaurant in CH/D? We have good tips!
We felt very comfortable and will gladly recommend the place. Helena gave us an introduction as soon as we arrived. You can feel the heart in her, that it is important to her to give the guests the best she offers. A place where you can feel comfortable. Keep it up....:)

We spent 2 nights in this beautiful, quiet place! The sunset was magnificent and the birdsong in the morning wonderful. The camp is located on the bike path to Radolfzell or Stein a/Rhein. In Moos there is a swimming pool directly on the lake (also for families with the bike / bike / child seat or the like in 15-30 minutes). The bike path is well signposted and the area is worth seeing! We enjoyed the round trip via Moos to Stein a/Rhein (without EBike)very much! Next time we will make a hike to the nearby castle. Helena is a very nice and attentive hostess! We recommend families as well as young and young at heart Wiesholz for a quiet, cozy and / or sporty time out in the beautiful Schaffhauserland.

Helena and her husband were very friendly hosts. Our son had huge fun at the fire bowl and Füürle. The homemade wild boar burgers are highly recommended. And the place offers a good starting point for many excursions, whether by public transport, on foot or by bike. We like to come back.

Our first serious attempt as a camper. Thanks to Helena and Rainer a complete success. Idyllic surroundings, massive space, romantic sunset included. Barbecue equipment is available. The two are so friendly, uncomplicated and helpful, the wet cell always tiptop clean, what more could a camper's heart desire? A 100% recommendation.

I was very warmly welcomed and felt almost at home from the beginning. Thanks to good tips, I immediately scouted out all the important points of the surroundings: a short hike to Rielasingen (D), a trip by public transport to Schaffhausen, a swim in the Rhine from Hemishofen to Diessenhofen with borrowed pool noodle and waterproof pack and at the end of the day each time comfortably enjoy the sunset between the fruit trees - this nomadic stay will remain in my best memory. Thank you very much for your hospitality dear Helena and Rainer!

Beautiful, quiet place under fruit trees overlooking the vast fields. We were there with a 4er spatzzelt, which means dozens of pegs. The ground was soft and level despite the dryness, pitching the tent was easier than ever. Helena and her family is very nice and helpful, the sanitary facilities were always clean.

Very nice and very quiet place under the shade fruit trees. Helena is very hospitable and accommodating, as is her husband. We were there with the bikes and were without much effort at the Rhine, Stein am Rhein or Lake Constance. I can only recommend this place!

Everything was top: the location, the infrastructure and the hostess Helena. It was three very nice days.

Very nice place, ideal also for bike rides, hikes or visits to neighboring Germany, Stein a.R., Schaffhausen etc.. Wild boar burger from own hunt highly recommended. Description on Nomady is 100% correct. The only thing that would be desirable is a separate toilet/shower facility for Nomady guests. Thank you very much, dear Helena, we enjoyed it very much despite the thunderstorm! Best regards Andrea & Rolf

This was my first booking on Nomady and everything was right for me from the beginning. Due to my last-minute booking, no one could be present when I arrived. Nevertheless, I felt very welcome by the friendly telephone instruction and was then allowed to meet Helena personally in the evening. Thank you very much for the trust. I will be happy to come again. PS: also the wild boar hamburger is not to be despised!

Fruit trees in full bloom, a pitch with a clear view of field and meadow and a warm welcome awaited us - wonderful! In the evening a bright, broad sunset right in front of the tent and in the morning the silence is filled with varied birdsong - wonderful! The campsite is nevertheless central and an ideal starting point for varied excursions. The turtles have it's especially done to our daughter and were allowed to be visited as often as she wanted - thank you for the confidence! The infrastructure (bathroom/washing up facilities, even a lounge was offered to us) is all there and very clean. The Einfeuern in the provided fire bowl (incl.Holz!) directly at the pitch - also a special highlight! The host family is extremely uncomplicated, sympathetic, friendly and very accommodating - we felt really comfortable with you! Thank you very much for everything - we will come again with pleasure! Family Bruderer PS: the Wildschweinbauernschüblig is highly recommended!

We spent a week at Camp Wiesholz. Helena and Rainer are first class hosts. The camp is very well organized and beautifully maintained. We lacked nothing, Helena and Rainer were always pleasant and friendly contact persons for questions about the camp and the region Stein am Rhein. The camp has a great location, by bike you can reach Stein am Rhein, Diessenhofen etc. in a short time.

Helena welcomed us very warmly to her beautiful farm and gave us many tips for our three-day stay. We were allowed to stand where we wanted and store our bikes in the dry barn. We especially appreciated the electricity for charging batteries and WC/shower. The beautiful area around Ramsen is perfect for bike tours and hikes. Many thanks to Helena and Rainer, we will come again! Maya & Heiner

I was one of the first guests to stay at Camp-Wiesholz. It is a brilliant place to camp, very well maintained and wonderfully quiet. And Helena and Rainer are great hosts who are very concerned about the well-being of their guests. A tip for all hammock campers: Here you can also spend the night in a hammock under a tarp. The trees have the ideal distance for this. Slept great, the perfect place for a short break. I can only warmly recommend the Camp Wiesholz, just great!
