Located in the hamlet of Wiesholz in Ramsen... a little slice of nature and tranquility, surrounded by seasonal organic vegetable fields, just 7 km from Stein am Rhein (Lake Constance and the Rhine). You’ll be camping right in the heart of nature—pure relaxation! We are situated directly on the cycle path, just a few meters from the German border, with a view of Hohentwiel Castle in Germany.
In the village (a 10-minute walk away), there is an outdoor pool with a children's paddling pool available from mid-May to mid-September, with additional lake and river swimming spots nearby. The village also features a large Migros Partner supermarket, open daily. Accessible from both Switzerland and Germany via public transport (Petersburg stop, approx. 1 km).
Other local attractions include Stein am Rhein, Schaffhausen, and the Rhine Falls (featuring an adventure climbing park and the SMILESTONES miniature world).
Enjoy mountain bike trails and castle hikes on the Schienerberg, or cycling tours around the Höri peninsula and Lake Constance. Other great day-trip destinations include Mainau Island, Singen, and Constance.

A barn room is available for use during bad weather. There is a dedicated dishwashing room, and secure bicycle parking is provided in a barn. Children's playgrounds are located at the edge of the forest and in the village; from mid-May, the village pool opens, featuring a paddling pool for kids and on-site catering.

Helena gave us a warm welcome and we immediately felt right at home on her beautiful property. We really enjoyed the peace and quiet and the wonderful evening atmosphere. There is plenty to discover nearby, and riding the rail bike on the disused railway line is a great experience. The pictures on Nomady are exactly as we experienced it. An absolutely wonderful place to relax! The campsite is very cute and pleasantly laid out. The extremely clean sanitary facilities deserve a special mention. The surroundings are wonderfully quiet and offer great, charming swimming spots nearby. The hostess was exceedingly nice, accommodating, and very helpful with any questions. We would love to come back and can highly recommend this place!
A truly beautiful, small, and refined spot. We felt very comfortable right from the start. Helena is a warm host and went to great lengths to ensure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. These are exactly the kind of places Nomady needs: personal, uncomplicated, and run with a lot of heart. Stays like this are simply a joy. We would love to come back!
Helena is a very open-minded person. It is important to her that her guests are well looked after. She gave tips about the area and where to go shopping, eating, and drinking. The sanitary facilities were very clean. I was able to store my e-bike in a shed overnight. Everything was perfect...
