Just a one-minute walk from the beautiful High Rhine, we offer one to two pitches on grass and/or asphalt for camping enthusiasts. Located in a quiet spot on the edge of town in a cul-de-sac/play street, you can relax wonderfully in the cozy seating area, in a deck chair, or right on the banks of the Rhine. Down by the river, you can go swimming or walk upstream in your swimwear and let the current drift you back down. Families are very welcome. Several leisure activities await you in the garden, such as a trampoline, football, swings, and a sandbox. There is also a public playground right across the street. There is plenty to do from here: ⁕ Our village is unique: Büsingen is a German exclave within the Swiss canton of Schaffhausen, beautifully situated on the High Rhine. You can hike the 'Exklavenweg' trail or cycle along the river. A visit to the 'Rhybadi' (lido) is also highly recommended for its culinary offerings. ⁕ The ferry dock is just 5 minutes away. The small ferry can take you to the other side of the Rhine to the 'Klostergut Paradies'. From there, you can enjoy beautiful paths, partly through nature reserves and directly along the river. ⁕ The Rhine Falls near Schaffhausen can be reached in about 20 minutes by bike or just under an hour on foot. It’s 10 minutes by car and 30 minutes by bus. ⁕ The boat from the local pier takes you downstream to Schaffhausen or upstream via Stein am Rhein all the way to Constance. It’s a magnificent trip through stunning nature, and every stop has something to offer. A must-do! :-) ⁕ The bus stop is only one minute away, providing excellent public transport connections in all directions.
