Our quiet, nature-filled meadow, with views of the Heidschnucke sheep pasture, is located on the outskirts of Wachendorf, at the foot of the northern Eifel. Here, you'll find ample space on a generous meadow with unobstructed views of the landscape, a cozy evening fire, relaxing in the clay sauna, products from our Heidschnucke sheep, BBQ packages, and chilled drinks. We look forward to welcoming you! Toilets, Showers, and More Our new sanitary building features a very spacious open-air shower with hot and cold water and perfect privacy, a large sink, and separate toilets with washbasins for girls and boys. Additionally, an indoor shower and a unisex toilet are available in the courtyard building. The Clay Sauna We built our sauna ourselves. It's heated with a wood-burning stove, and you can enjoy the pleasant heat radiating from the clay walls while gazing into the garden. We offer the sauna for exclusive use at a flat rate of €70. This includes: wood for heating, lighting and warming up the sauna, and an introduction to its operation. The Manufactory Our 400-year-old, listed four-sided farmstead also houses our manufactory for tuned chimes. Here, you can get an insight into the production of our handcrafted chimes. Our White-Horned Heidschnucke Sheep They are outdoors all year round. By keeping them, we make an important contribution to the preservation of traditional farm animals. You can purchase sausages, meat, furs, and other products directly on-site. Upon request, we can also send you a list of all currently available items.
