The parking lot is nestled in the forest, right by the Castellberghütte in Vogtsburg-Achkarren. It's about a 10-minute walk to the center of Achkarren. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HUT IS PARTICULARLY POPULAR FOR PRIVATE GROUPS AND EVENTS, ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS. THIS MAY LEAD TO SOME NOISE DISTURBANCES. According to the local tourism tax regulations of the town of Vogtsburg i.K., all non-local persons staying in the municipality are subject to registration and tourism tax. The tourism tax of €2.00 per person aged 15 and over, or €1.00 for children, will be transferred directly during the booking process. By paying the tourism tax, you will receive the KONUS guest card, which grants you numerous discounts and allows you to use buses and trains free of charge throughout the entire region. You can pick up your guest card at the Citizen and Tourist Information Center in Vogtsburg i.K.. The Citizen and Tourist Information Center is currently open as follows: April - October: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. October - March: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
