The parking lot is located in the forest, right next to the Castellberghütte in Vogtsburg-Achkarren. It's about a 10-minute walk to the center of Achkarren. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE HUT IS FREQUENTLY BOOKED BY PRIVATE GROUPS AND FOR EVENTS, ESPECIALLY ON WEEKENDS. THIS MAY LEAD TO NOISE DISTURBANCES. Caravans are also welcome on our pitches, provided they are self-sufficient and therefore not dependent on external infrastructure. Electricity and sanitary facilities are not available on our municipal pitches. If these conditions are not met, overnight stays in caravans are not permitted on our pitches. According to the tourist tax regulations of the town of Vogtsburg i.K., all non-local persons staying in the municipality are required to register and pay tourist tax. The tourist tax of €2.00 per person aged 15 and over, or €1.00 for children, is transferred directly during the booking process. By paying the tourist tax, you will receive the KONUS guest card, which offers numerous discounts and allows you to use buses and trains free of charge throughout the entire region. You can pick up your guest card at the Citizen and Tourist Information Center in Vogtsburg i.K.. The Citizen and Tourist Information Center is currently open as follows: April - October: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 12:30 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Saturday 9:30 AM - 1:00 PM. October - March: Monday to Thursday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Friday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM.
