Our paved parking space, approximately 12 m long and 2.9 m wide, is located on the outskirts of the village next to our house and invites you to stargaze in the evenings. Outside, you can unwind and relax, or enjoy pure nature on a walk through the immediately adjacent meadows, fields, and mixed forests. Cycling and hiking, swimming in the nearby volcanic lakes (Maare) or a thermal bath, as well as day trips to attractions, will make your Eifel vacation varied and exciting.

We have included many different impressions and information for you and look forward to your booking inquiry!

Oberöfflingen is situated between the district towns of Wittlich and Daun, between the Eifelsteig and Lieserpfad hiking trails, directly next to the Mosel-Maar Cycle Path, and close to the Eifel Maare, the town of Manderscheid with its castles and the new castle via ferrata, as well as the Salm Cycle Path.
Recommended day trips include the cities of Trier, Koblenz, and Luxembourg, the Moselle river with its charming towns of Bernkastel-Kues, Cochem, or Traben-Trarbach, and the Nürburgring.
The Wildlife and Adventure Park in Daun and Klotten, or the Eifelpark in Gondorf, offer plenty of fun for the whole family.
There are many activities for children (see the Vulkaneifel Children's Map for more).
The Eifel Maare, the thermal bath in Bad Bertrich, or the swimming pools (adventure pools, indoor pools, or outdoor pools) in Manderscheid, Daun, Cochem, and Bitburg invite you to swim and bathe. Additionally, there are opportunities for boating and stand-up paddling.
Fishing in the Maare, the Lieser river, and Sterenbachsee lake is also possible.

The nearest shopping facilities are in the neighboring village of Laufeld (2 km), as well as in the towns of Manderscheid, Gillenfeld, and Wittlich. In Eckfeld, you'll find a charming farm café offering incredibly delicious homemade cakes.
