Fußläufig erreicht ihr von uns aus direkt das Pommerbachtal sowie den Moselsteig. In der Nähe befinden sich außerdem das Dortebachtal, das Endertal, die Ehebachklamm und diverse Traumsteige. 
Die römische Tempelanlage könnt ihr je nach Standort von unserem Dorf aus bereits sehen. Entweder wandert ihr durch das Pommerbachtal dorthin oder ihr erreicht die Anlage mit dem Auto von Pommern aus. 

Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind die Reichsburg in Cochem, die Burg Eltz in Wierschem, die Burg Pyrmont in Roes sowie etliche weitere Burgen in der Nähe.

Nicht zu vergessen sind außerdem das Ulmener Maar, das Pulvermaar, der Laacher See, etc (ca. 30 min. Mit dem Auto).

Weitere Sehenswürdigkeiten sind der Bundesbank-Bunker Cochem, die Hängeseilbrücke Geierlay in Mörsdorf, etc.


Unser Hof liegt mitten im Ort auf den Moselhöhen, jedoch ist unser Dorf sehr klein und es herrscht so wenig Verkehr, dass die Kinder auf der Hauptstraße Fußball spielen können. Die Wiese an sich liegt hinter unserer Scheune und ist über eine Seitenstraße erreichbar. Wie bereits erwähnt, herrscht wenig Verkehr, sodass ihr abends mit dem Zirpen der Grillen einschlaft und morgens mit dem Zwitschern der Vögel geweckt werdet. OK, in der Erntezeit kommen auch Traktorengeräusche hinzu, aber das gehört zum Landleben ja dazu. 😊

Von der Wiese aus habt ihr eine schöne Aussicht auf Felder und den Wald.
Übernachtet ihr in kleinen Zelten, könnt ihr durchaus 2 Zelte aufstellen. 

Eine Toilette ist nicht vorhanden, sodass ihr eine eigene Campingtoilette mitbringen müsstet. Wenn ihr eine Feuerschale dabei habt, könnt ihr nach Absprache gerne ein Feuer machen, Holz müsstet ihr euch mitbringen.

Im Ort selbst befindet sich eine Kneipe ("Jimmy's Saloon"), wo im Sommer abends gegrillt wird. Die nächsten Einkaufsmöglichkeiten befinden sich rnd. 7 km entfernt in Treis-Karden sowie Kaisersesch. Im 5 km Entfernung befindet sich außerdem ein kleiner Dorfladen.
