The property is easily accessible via a paved road, borders the city forest, yet is secluded (it adjoins another property rarely used as a recreational plot) in a suburb of Wiesbaden on the western edge of the Wiesbaden Taunus. An adjacent road has little traffic and is rarely heard. In addition to various spots where you can set up camp, the area features a beautiful fire pit, a composting toilet, and a children's play area (swing, sand, and slide). Furthermore, we offer extras that you can book individually (bicycles, tents, roof tent, tarp, sleeping mat, sleeping bags, hammocks, gas stove for fire bans, pizza oven, and much more... feel free to contact me! :))
Where Hessloch, Wiesbaden's smallest suburb, is located today, 800 years ago there was still forest, predominantly consisting of hazelnut bushes. Today, there are many cycling and hiking trails (e.g., R6), forest, fields, and orchards. The hiking trails are partly paved throughout (stroller-friendly), partly unpaved. In the small village, there are places to stop for refreshments; supermarket, drugstore, etc., are reachable within 3 km. In case of rain, the spot is only accessible with all-wheel drive. The entrance is a bit narrow and therefore not suitable for vehicles wider than 2.10m. Dogs are welcome. As it is a forest property, forest-typical dangers (falling branches and/or trees) must be expected. We do our best to secure the paths but cannot guarantee anything. Therefore, you enter our property at your own risk.
