What is that?

Park Overnight (PON) offers simple, legal overnight spots in parking areas—ideal for spontaneous and safe travel. The spots are meant for one or more nights and are perfect when you need a quiet, official place to park, sleep and continue your journey.

If you would like to stay overnight in your car, you are welcome to book a pitch with us (Camping Schmitten in Zell am See areitXpress). Our parking area is located in Zell am See-Schüttdorf, right at the valley station of the areitXpress cable car, which takes you up to the Schmittenhöhe. The 10 pitches are located in Parking Lot 1 and are clearly signposted. Bus stops and the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn train station are in the immediate vicinity. Man bekommt, was man bucht. Wir waren im Januar dort, also ist der Platz tagsüber voll mit Autos und Skibussen. Die Straße ist auch abends/nachts zu hören, aber nicht übermäßig laut. Das alles aber für den Preis, inklusive Strom und die Lage, ist unschlagbar! Kleiner Tipp- die Stromanschlüsse sind an der rechten Seite des Kastens. Wir haben sie erst nicht gefunden, da die Busse dort geparkt haben.
