Our picturesque Valais village is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Its origins date back to 1125, and in 2025, we'll be celebrating Niedergesteln's 900th anniversary. The castle overlooking the village is a significant testament to Niedergesteln's rich history. In our 1400m² garden, located in the heart of the village yet wonderfully secluded, you'll discover countless nooks and crannies perfect for relaxing and unwinding. In autumn and spring, a charming group of alpacas resides in a section of the garden. You'll have your own private toilet and fresh water available at the fountain. In case of bad weather or if needed, and when the alpacas are not present, you can use their stable for storage or shelter. In the immediate vicinity, you can climb the castle and cross the castle rock through the Ice Age cave (Feschtiloch), explore the impressive Joli Gorge, and discover other fascinating sights. Numerous 'Suonen' (historic irrigation channels) trails, hiking paths, and biking routes nearby invite you to an active and rejuvenating getaway.
