Located just minutes from Thun, a vast meadow awaits you at the edge of the forest, complete with a fire pit, a cozy camping area, a rustic hut, and plenty of peace and quiet. A place to breathe, connect, and embrace the outdoors.

Whether it’s for a weekend with friends, a small family getaway, or simply a chance to unplug: here you will experience pure nature – with birdsong in the morning, campfires in the evening, and the open sky above you.

“Amerika” is no ordinary campsite. It is a small sanctuary. A place to simply be.

For your daily needs, everything in Allmendingen and the surrounding area is within easy reach: shops, farm stores, and bakeries are just a few minutes away.

Fresh bread and croissants are available every morning at the nearby bakeries in Allmendingen or on the way to Thun. For larger grocery runs, Coop, Migros, Denner, and other supermarkets are just a few minutes' drive away.

If you love regional products, you will also find various farm shops in the area offering seasonal vegetables, eggs, cheese, and other specialties straight from the farm.
