Welcome to “Amerika” – a simple, magical retreat in the heart of nature. Located just minutes from Thun, a vast meadow awaits you at the edge of the forest, complete with a fire pit, a cozy campsite, a rustic cabin, and plenty of peace and quiet. A place to breathe, gather, and embrace the outdoors.

Whether for a weekend with friends, a short family getaway, or simply to switch off: here you will experience pure nature – with birdsong in the morning, a campfire in the evening, and the open sky above you.

“Amerika” is no ordinary campsite. It is a small sanctuary. A place to simply be.

For your daily needs, everything in Allmendingen and the surrounding area is within easy reach: shops, farm stores, and bakeries are just a few minutes away.

Fresh bread and croissants are available every morning at the nearby bakeries in Allmendingen or on the way to Thun. For larger grocery runs, Coop, Migros, Denner, and other supermarkets are just a few minutes' drive away.

If you love regional products, you will also find various farm shops in the area offering seasonal vegetables, eggs, cheese, and other specialties straight from the farm.
