A place to unwind and enjoy the tranquility, with views of Lake Ägelsee and the Simmental valley. We are located on the edge of the Diemtigtal Nature Park, offering wonderful hiking and biking opportunities. Your camper van (4x4 recommended) can be parked directly next to our rarely used wooden barn. In autumn and winter, it's very often fog-free and sunny here. The camp is best reached with an off-road camper or van, as the access road is quite steep. Around the barn, you can set up your deck chair or table and chairs and enjoy a meal. With views of Lake Ägelsee and the sounds of birdsong or cowbells in your ear, you can perfectly switch off and relax.
Fresh water is available from the well. With a bit of luck, you might even spot golden eagles!
A walking path leads around the lake. Culinary delights can be found in the Nature Park fridge at Gasthof Bergli, or in the valley, there are restaurants with good, regional cuisine. If you're planning an excursion to the famous Niesen or Stockhorn mountains, the valley stations are reachable by car in about 15 and 20 minutes respectively. In about 30 minutes, you can be at Lake Thun for swimming or a boat trip.

Enjoy the convenience of a paved area, perfect for outdoor activities. A BBQ and sun loungers are provided for your relaxation and enjoyment. The stable can be used as a storage room, and there are dishwashing facilities available for your convenience.

Discover our charming little kiosk offering local products, farm-fresh eggs, and delicious meat directly from our farm. Our organic beef is available individually or as a mixed package.

Cows, ponies, chickens, a playground nearby, and a charming little lake with a scenic walking path all around.

Ägelseeblick

Ein Platz um die Seele baumeln zu lassen und die Ruhe zu geniessen mit Blick auf Ägelsee und ins Simmental. Wir befinden uns am Rand des Naturparks Diemtigtal mit wunderbaren Wander- und Bikemöglichkeiten. Das Camp für dein Büssli (mit 4x4) ist direkt neben unserer kaum genutzten Holzscheune. Im Herbst und Winter sehr oft nebelfrei und sonnig. Auch im Winter eignet sich der Platz um auszuspannen, viel Wintersonne tanken, kaum Nebel und wenn Schnee liegt, kann man schöne Winterwanderungen unternehmen.
Das Camp erreichst du am besten mit einem Offroadcamper oder Büssli, da Zufahrt recht steil. Rund um die Scheune kannst du deinen Liegestuhl oder Tisch und Stuhl aufstellen und dich verpflegen. Mit Blick auf den Ägelsee und dem Vogelgezwitscher oder Kuhglockenklängen im Ohr kann man so perfekt abschalten. 
Frisches Wasser gibt es aus dem Brunnen. Mit etwas Glück siehst du sogar Steinadadler!
Ein Spazierweg führt um den See. Kulinarische Köstlichkeiten gibt es im Naturparkkühlschrank beim Gasthof Bergli oder im Tal hats Restaurants mit guter, regionaler Küche. Wenn du einen Ausflug auf die berühmten Berge Niesen oder Stockhorn planst, sind die Talstationen mit dem Auto in ca. 15 und 20 Minuten zu erreichen. In ca. 30 Minuten ist man am Thunersee zum Baden oder für eine Schifffahrt.
