Arche Panorama-Camp St. Oswald

Very nice pitch in a quiet location with a fantastic view 😍 The breakfast and dinner were excellent. We'd love to come back with our 🐕 🐕 🐕

Basically, we had a wonderful pitch. However, it was only mowed upon our arrival. Before that, the grass was a good 30cm high. Getting information about which shower and toilet we were allowed to use was also quite difficult. The view was breathtaking. During our stay, a very spiritual group was also there. I can't see 10 pitches there. A maximum of 5. We could book breakfast for 20 Euros, and it was very rich.

My booking (for just one night) was made the evening before, with a note that I would like to take advantage of the half-board offer. The booking confirmation, of course, came immediately (as it was a 'direct booking'), but the host's response to my note also came in impressively record time – although this might be slightly tempered by the fact that it consisted of only three words. After a short search, I reached the 'Biolandhaus ARCHE', and the described, fantastic location did not promise too much – the panorama in the slowly setting dusk was truly beautiful. Two pitches were offered (one of them was even the owner's private parking space); I chose the slightly less exposed one by the 'Soul Swing' in the greenery. The slight unevenness could be quickly and easily leveled with wedges; a power connection was not discussed, but would probably have to be routed indirectly at this spot. As part of the booking, it was indicated that ten pitches were available – however, based on my observations (in combination with the visualization in the host's contact details), I couldn't figure out where these were supposed to be. The regular parking lot was also well occupied, which made access to the back of the property a bit difficult. The four-course evening menu was served very promptly, and its vegetarian or vegan components were convincing in taste and worth their price. The sanitary facilities (two separate WCs) were, as described, clean and fully available. Of course, they were shared with the guests of the country house (including 'open' showers in the wellness area), but this hardly affected their cleanliness or availability. The night on the beautiful pitch was truly very quiet, and the subsequent breakfast buffet was rich. 'Welcome to Carinthia - HOLIDAY WITH FRIENDS' – I read this motto often on the way there; however, all in all, I experienced it much more distantly. Undoubtedly always with respect, but I missed the 'hospitality' that I had always experienced so authentically with Nomady until now. The interests and offerings seem to be very diverse, both among the hosts and the 'normal' guests. And 'Nature first' is certainly lived here, which can be guessed from the numerous awards alone – but for me, unfortunately, I had the feeling that Nomady here is less a 'small' sideline and more a 'side show'.
