Quiet pitch located behind the old schoolhouse in Horrenbach.

An ideal starting point for hikes, bike tours*, or leisurely strolls in the pre-Alpine surroundings (Sigriswilergrat, Eriz, Hohgant…). Alternatively, simply 'be and enjoy' around the house. As an extra, a barrel sauna invites you to a wonderfully relaxing sweat (additional charge).

*Directly on the King's Stage (Langnau – Thun) of the Herzroute.

Guests are often greeted shortly after arrival by the lovely neighborhood cat Söckli, and with a bit of luck, chamois, deer, or stags may appear at the forest edge in the early morning hours, depending on the season. The view of the starry sky on a clear night is also priceless.

The basic price includes the use of the WC + shower in the house, a gas grill, garden table and chairs, and electricity. We look forward to making you feel at home with us!

Note for guests with (small) children: The property ends towards the forest with a steep slope without a fence. As an alternative to constantly keeping an eye on your kids, you are welcome to roam and play on the neighboring public square, which belongs to the municipal administration.

Auf dem ehemaligen Schulhausplatz

Ruhiger Stellplatz angesiedelt hinter dem alten Schulhaus im Horrenbach. Als besondere Wohltat in der kalten Jahreszeit, lädt die Fasssauna zum wohltuenden Schwitzen ein (kostenpflichtig).

Idealer Ausgangspukt für Winterwanderungen /-spaziergänge in der voralpinen Umgebung, Langlaufen oder Skifahren im (kleinen aber besonders bei Familien beliebten) Skigebiet Eriz.

 Meist werden Gäste schon bald nach Ankunft von der liebenswerten Nachbarskatze Söckli begrüsst und mit etwas Glück zeigen sich in den frühen Morgenstunden und je nach Jahreszeit Gämsen, Rehe oder Hirsche am Waldrand. Unbezahlbar ist auch der Blick in den Sternenhimmel in einer klaren Nacht. Im Grundpreis inkl. sind die Nutzung von WC + Dusche im Haus (geheizt), Gasgrill, Gartentisch und -stühle sowie Strombezug.

Hinweis für Gäste mit (Klein-)Kindern: Das Grundstück endet gegen den Wald hin mit einem steilen Abhang ohne Zaun. Als Alternative dazu, eure Kids dauerhaft im Auge zu behalten, dürft ihr euch gerne auf dem Nachbarsplatz, welcher zur Gemeindeverwaltung gehört und öffentlich ist, rumtreiben und vertörlen.
