The solid wood house was lovingly renovated and designed inside in 2020. The rooms feature an open-plan design with a beautiful gallery on the top floor, offering a total living space of approximately 60 sqm. It boasts an open kitchen, a small shower room, and a cozy sleeping area. Everyone who enters this wooden house will find themselves in the cozy ambiance of a mountain cabin. It absolutely invites you to relax and feel good, and you'll sleep heavenly here. Especially during the winter months, the tiled stove makes it wonderfully warm and snug. The solid wood house was renovated internally in 2020 and lovingly designed. The rooms are open-plan with a beautiful gallery on the top floor, offering a total living space of approx. 60 sqm. It features an open kitchen, a small shower room, and a cozy sleeping area.

Lehrerin für die Sekundarstufe II, Übungsleiterin/Vereinsmanagerin im Breitensport und Träumerin. Seit meiner frühen Kindheit ist es mein größter Wunsch einen eigenen kleinen Bauernhof zu bewirtschaften und mit meiner kleinen Familie auf dem Land glücklich zu leben. Nach vielen, vielen Besuchen auf dem Ferienhof der Familie Gerig, die wie eine Familie für mich wurde, und sehr vielen Praktika bei einer lieben Landtierärztin, wollte ich unbedingt aufs Land und mich bzw. meine Familie selbst versorgen. Nachdem wir aus der Stadt ins Oberbergische gezogen waren wurde dieser Wunsch immer größer. Und nachdem unsere beiden Kinder geboren waren, war uns klar, wir müssen jetzt einen Weg finden unseren Traum zu verwirklichen!

Our timber house is nestled in the Windecker Ländchen, a region renowned for its pristine air quality, breathtaking landscapes, extensive hiking trails, and diverse recreational activities. Discover a wealth of attractions, natural monuments, and protected nature reserves.
Windeck itself is located in the eastern part of the municipality, home to approximately 18,730 residents, and comprises 66 charming villages spread along both banks of the Sieg River.
This municipality boasts a fascinating history, stretching back to the Stone Age. In more recent times, Windeck is primarily associated with its historic castle, which has played a role in the narratives of figures such as the Count of Thuringia, the Archbishops of Cologne, the Count of Sayn, the Duchy of Berg, and even Napoleon.
Our 'Tischlerschuppen' (Carpenter's Shed) is situated in a small hamlet, part of the Rhein-Sieg district, bordering the Bergisches Land, Oberbergisches Land, and the Westerwald. Here, fresh eggs from the neighbor, local honey from the beekeeper, and even neighborly help when needed are all part of daily life. Children play together freely, and chickens and ducks roam the streets. This is where you experience authentic country living.

We had a wonderful vacation. The contact with the host family was extremely warm. We look forward to another visit 😌
My husband, my daughter, and I spent the weekend at "Klein Kattult". A super lovely farm with chickens, rabbits, and quails. We were allowed to use the garden with its trampoline, children's treehouse, and sandbox. Around the corner, there were horses and alpacas. We slept great in the converted carpenter's shed. Everything was provided: shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, and a small hairdryer. Wood for the tiled stove was always readily available. We will definitely come back here for another weekend. Thanks again to Yvonne and Sebastian.
Great accommodation, very cozy and lovingly furnished. Everything you need is there. Beautiful garden with animals and plenty of toys - really great for children. However, the outdoor area is shared with the host family and potentially other guests.
Thank you so much for the wonderful time at your place. 😀 We felt transported back to our childhood, and memories of Michel from Lönneberga truly came alive. We thoroughly enjoyed our little getaway. The owners of Klein Kattult are also very friendly and accommodating. We'd love to come back anytime. 😀
A wonderful and cozy little cottage with a great garden with animals. Yvonne and Sebastian are very nice, helpful, and easygoing. We can also recommend the alpaca walk at the neighboring farm!

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location, perfect for lovely walks. Yvonne and Sebastian are really nice and very accommodating (they even lit the stove for me). Anyone looking for a peaceful getaway has come to the right place.
It was super cozy in a quiet location! Great apartment with everything you need. Yvonne and Sebastian are extremely accommodating, we felt very comfortable! The region is great for cycling and hiking. Thank you very much!
