Very beautiful off-grid spot in the sun with an unbeatable panoramic view of the Alps. A great starting point for bike tours between Aargau and Lucerne. Sebi is the perfect host – unobtrusive and friendly. Thanks for the great time at your place! Insider tips: You have to try the Galloway dried sausages from their own farm. And on Sundays, get the cream slices from the Stutz bakery in Rothenburg. Perfect!

This spot would deserve 5 stars for the location, if only you could find it. The Google coordinates point to the farmyard, but there were 10 other campers there and it didn't look idyllically secluded like in the picture. I wanted to go and register, but there were no signs indicating who/where to go. Other campers told me to go to the yellow house, but unfortunately, an unleashed, barking, growling farm dog blocked my way. I'm not super scared, but I have respect, and I found the situation extremely unpleasant. I then just parked with the other campers, definitely the wrong spot, and there was also an enclosure with barking shepherd dogs there. If you like that – okay. I had imagined it differently. Otherwise, a wonderful place to stay overnight.

It was perfect for us! Flat pitch, beautiful view, short, pleasant online contact with the host, pitch fee not too expensive, clean, and now and then a few cyclists came by who rested on the bench, we had a quick chat – but there's also enough space to keep to yourselves. Many thanks for the great spot, we'd love to come back again!

+ A lovely spot in the middle of nature. + Very friendly hosts, spontaneous and helpful. - Unfortunately, we had some bad luck with an extreme number of mosquitoes and flies. ***** Still 5 stars, as we were so kindly welcomed :)
