Campen auf dem Biohof

Beautiful pitch in the heart of nature with an incredible panoramic view. A friendly host with a farm featuring chickens, roosters, donkeys, and pigs in outdoor enclosures—just as it should be.

Unfortunately, we had to detour around several closed roads before we finally arrived after 6 PM. We couldn't use the fire pit because a fire ban had been put in place that day, but we weren't informed until the evening! On the positive side, it was very quiet apart from the farm animals, and the sunset view was outstanding. We weren't shown where the drinking water was, only the toilet. There were a lot of cobwebs in the entrance area. At 51 CHF for one night for one adult and one teenager, it's in a high price bracket. For us, it was the only option available nearby.

Paddy is a truly lovely host who goes above and beyond to make everything possible. Quietly located with a 🔨 view. Okay, the roosters crow early in the morning 🤭 The Neckertal is definitely worth a trip. 🚨-bring your own water!! 👉🏼 visit the 'Hoflädeli Linde' farm shop in Nassen!! Among other things, they have great braided bread and delicious Lucerne countrywomen's nut mix 👈🏼 Thanks Paddy for your hospitality - we'll see you again 👋🏽

It felt so good to do almost nothing all day but gaze into the distance and watch the animals. Pure relaxation. 🌳🌄🐖🐐 Nowhere else do I know of pigs kept in such species-appropriate conditions (I'm sure they exist, but I just don't know any other place). It's a joy to watch them. Thank you, thank you.
