Mitten auf dem Bauernhof

Melanie and Christoph were very warm hosts. The pitch offered a wonderful view of the fruit trees. Our personal highlight was the lovingly prepared and generously filled breakfast basket. A little tip for an excursion: the flower hike on the Chäserrugg!

I was given such a warm welcome. Idyllic surroundings, even with great home-made products. I would love to come back.

Okay for a late overnight stay in the dark, but at 3 PM it was a bit too close to the cowshed for my wife. After that, the lovely Melanie showed us to a great spot by the horse stables with gravel and half grass. Great with a dog—the best spot is with the horses. The goats, rabbits, and cows are more for the kids. The minus 1-star drawback is more down to the sweet farm dog; he peed on our picnic blanket and other outdoor gear. It's probably just new for the dog, and in return, our dog gave up his breakfast, but he eats less while camping anyway. Hope this helps people without dogs too.
