We had no host to show us around so it was a bit strange. There doesn’t seem to be a designated tent area, but with a camping vehicle it would be nice.

we stayed just one night on our way to the Rhine Falls. The hosts stopped by to great us. The place is perfect: we ended up sleeping in the cellar, instead of pitching our tent because of a thunderstorm. There is everything you need: bathroom, toilet, even a coffee machine and a microwave. And if you like chickens, you will be delighted to see a whole family of Appenzeller Spitzhauben. We would stay there again if in the region.

A beautiful, quiet spot with new and clean facilities that you have all to yourself. In summer, only the chickens are on the farm, so it was very peaceful. The pitch is in the shade of the barn in the morning, but in the sun from midday onwards. However, by the oak tree, you have the option to stay in the shade all day long.
