Gaia's Getaway

It was exactly as we hoped: quiet, secluded, uncomplicated, very friendly hosts, and close to the lake. We would love to come back, thank you very much!

We were expecting some contact with the farm owners, but unfortunately, we had none at all. We weren't warned that the ground is not very suitable for a tent as it's not very level, nor that the sheep pen would be right next to us. Only a bench and a toilet (which was already full) were available to us, and there was no table as shown in the photos. We were disappointed with this experience, especially considering the price.

The location is easy to reach and perfectly situated. It's only a 10-minute drive to Lake Hallwil and 20 minutes to Lake Sempach. You can enjoy peace and quiet here and the view is great. The toilet is also very clean. I can highly recommend it.

A beautifully situated site between fields and pastures with views of the surrounding area, including the nearby village. Fresh spring water, a clean compost toilet, and a covered seating area directly on-site are very pleasant. A highlight for our dog: a hiking trail popular for walks runs right next to the site, which can be monitored if you position yourself correctly. Those who are very light sleepers might not be entirely happy with the church bells in the village, which ring even at night. Levelling blocks are a good idea to level the vehicle.
