We invite you to spend a wonderful time in our rustic yet incredibly cozy barn. It's quite possible you might spot a little spider or a tiny mouse, and you'll certainly get visits from our two lovely cats! The barn is located on our old farmstead, surrounded by an expansive permaculture garden with magnificent views of the Unterallgäu region and the Alps.

We are surrounded by lush green meadows and forests, perfect for hiking and leisurely strolls. Several swimming lakes are just about 2 km away.
Nearby attractions include the SkylinePark amusement park and the Therme Bad Wörishofen thermal spa, both approximately 20 km away. Discover a beautiful basilica and enjoy a round of mini-golf in Ottobeuren, just 10 km away. The historic old town of Memmingen is also within easy reach, about 15 km from your stay. For convenient travel, Sontheim (Schwab) train station is only 1 km away, and FlexiBus services are available.

A truly extraordinary and special place! We loved our stay immensely – one night was definitely far too short. Everything is very well-maintained and lovingly designed, and there is truly everything you need. We would have loved to stay longer and will definitely be back!

We had a really wonderful time in the barn on Roland's beautiful property! He welcomed us very warmly on short notice and saved our weekend in the mountains :)
The Stadel offers a relaxed atmosphere. Just right for a break from everyday life. Roland also contributes to this, having proven to be a very laid-back and friendly host. It's a bit like sleeping outdoors - only indoors! :) We would definitely love to come back here again.

Incredibly nice host!! Relaxing in a quiet environment, with a super beautifully landscaped garden. We would love to come back and are already looking forward to the cowbell concert. 😁
Roland is super nice and has created a very beautiful place.
The ambiance is unbeatable, very friendly host, and everything was just as imagined—we were even pleasantly surprised by the beautiful sunset! About a 2 km walk to the train station with connections in all directions. Would gladly come again, even though it got a bit cold at times, which wasn't the host's fault; there were plenty of blankets available. Drinking water available and toilet with running water.
