Our small meadow campsite on the quiet outskirts of Altishausen (Kemmental) offers you exactly that: space, tranquility, and the feeling of truly being at home in the great outdoors. Your spot under the stars Whether you're arriving with a tent or a van – you'll find the perfect ground on our well-kept lawn. Enjoy panoramic views of the Säntis and the immediate proximity to nature. Dogs are very welcome here and will find great trails for long walks starting right from the farm. Simplicity with comfort We focus on sustainability and the essentials: Eco-Logical: We have a new, clean eco-friendly composting toilet right by the site (behind the pizza oven). Additionally, a urine-diverting toilet is available in the barn. Refreshment: Enjoy a true outdoor nature shower (cold or – in sunny weather – solar-preheated). Please note: The shower/WC in the main house is private and only available in exceptional cases upon request. Community: Our garden house is your "green living room" – featuring a large table, coffee machine, and power connection for cozy evenings. Fire & Flame: A fire pit and dry firewood (right by the pizza oven) are waiting for you. We’ll give you the first crate of wood for free for your perfect camping experience. Surroundings & Adventure You can reach Lake Constance in just 15 minutes. The towns of Constance, Weinfelden, and Romanshorn are within easy reach, while you enjoy absolute rural peace with us. A farm shop in the village provides you with fresh, regional products. Here is what our site offers you and your pet: • Pure Nature: Extensive trails through meadows and forests start right from your pitch—perfect for long, scenic walks. • Peaceful Location: Since our site is nestled in the countryside, there is no direct passing traffic, ensuring relaxed sniffing breaks. • Plenty of Space: The spacious meadow provides ample room for your dogs to feel right at home. • Community: We maintain a respectful environment so that both humans and animals can move around safely and feel relaxed at all times. Please remember to keep your dogs under control within the camp area to protect nature, other guests, and our resident cat.

Pet etiquette: Please ensure your four-legged friends do their business outside of the premises. Should an accident occur, please clean it up immediately.

The pitch is nestled in a peaceful, rural setting, surrounded by lush greenery and offering charming views of traditional orchards. Located directly on a farm, you might hear occasional traffic from the nearby secondary road. The area is partly flat, partly gently sloped – chocks might be needed (and are available). You can choose between shady and sunny spots, depending on your preference. Here, you'll find yourself in a small natural paradise, with meadows and ample space to unwind and breathe deeply.

In Kemmental and the surrounding area, there are countless opportunities to be active and enjoy nature. Directly from your doorstep, beautiful cycling and hiking routes lead through gentle hills, orchards, and charming small villages. Nearby Highlights: • Bommerweiher – perfect for a leisurely stroll or a refreshing dip on hot days. • Ottenberg Wine Trail – offering stunning views of vineyards and Lake Constance. • Swimming facilities & lake access: Hörnli outdoor pool (Kreuzlingen), Thurbadi (Weinfelden), Konstanz Thermal Baths, as well as natural swimming spots in Bottighofen, Kreuzlingen, or Tägerwilen. • Connyland in Lipperswil – an adventure park for families. Beautifully located and well-maintained! Well-equipped with a nice, sheltered seating/lounge area. Everything went completely smoothly and without any hassle despite my late arrival time. In the rooftop tent you can hear the road relatively clearly, but traffic drops off drastically after 10 PM and it is still quite peaceful.

Great spot with everything you need for a stay. We stayed here over the weekend. The nearby road has very little traffic and isn't bothersome. You have a fantastic panoramic view looking out at Mount Säntis and the Churfirsten. We would gladly come back👍
