Perfect for biking, swimming, or simply exploring. Just a 2-minute walk to the cogwheel railway to Heiden, from where you can embark on fantastic circular hikes or take a detour to the legendary Kindlistein.

The Alpstein? Just a stone's throw away! Or would you prefer to head straight from your front door towards Wartensee Castle or down to the lake? The possibilities here are endless!

Welcome to Homster!

I'm Viviane, and my lovingly furnished container – the "Homster" – is nestled on an organic vegetable farm in the beautiful Appenzellerland, very close to Lake Constance. Surrounded by meadows, forests, and animal companions (sheep, free-roaming ducks, and chickens), you'll find the perfect spot here to unwind, enjoy nature, and simply be. Located right next to the horse paddock, in the heart of a hiking paradise – ideal for anyone seeking simplicity, authenticity, and vitality.

Kitchen: Features a charming wood-burning stove and an electric hotplate inside the 'Homster' (main living area). Outside, you'll find a convenient gas hob perfect for cooking with a single pan. Heating: Cozy up to the warmth of a traditional wood-burning oven. Please note: The main bed is 120cm wide. A second mattress can be added to the room for additional sleeping arrangements. Bathroom: WC and shower with hot water are located in the adjacent barn, offering a unique rustic experience. Washing up facilities are also in the barn. Important: There is no running water inside the 'Homster' itself. Electricity and lighting are available throughout.

Grub, Heiden, Thal, and Staad are the nearest places for shopping. There are no shops directly in Wienacht itself.

Surrounding the Homster, vast meadows stretch out, gently transitioning into a small forest on one side. There, you'll discover a large fire pit – perfect for cozy evenings under the open sky. For those who feel like it, you can set off on narrow root paths, discover hidden quarries, or linger by babbling brooks. A place full of small natural wonders, inviting you to slow down, marvel, and simply be.
