Unser abgelegener Platz liegt in einem Dorf mit nur 14 Häusern oder Höfen und ist der Ursprungsort des Fraischbaches, was ihn zu einem Teil der Neualbenreuther-Geschichten der Fraisch oder Wechselfraisch macht. Etwa 200 Meter von unserem Hof entfernt befinden sich der Platz mit zwei idyllische, unberührte kleinen Teiche, die aufgrund fehlender Bewirtschaftung mittlerweile zu Biotopen geworden sind.
