No check-in, no pitch assignment. Just park up and enjoy. Exactly how I imagine it. Very beautiful spot and all alone. However, you should be self-sufficient.
A beautifully laid out site on the edge of a farm. We kicked off our camping season here for one night in mid-March, so we had the pitch all to ourselves. The small swimming pond is surely great in the summer! Unfortunately, the permanent compost toilet was very dirty and a bit gross – unusable. Luckily, we had our own with us, so it wasn't an issue. It would be difficult without your own toilet. There is a small, portable fire pit with a grill grate. In the summer, when there are more campers, it's probably hard to get hold of. You have to bring your own firewood.
We had an overnight stay in a tent, booked at short notice. Everything was very straightforward and super friendly. A beautiful, idyllic spot, with the swimming pond right in front of the tent! Wonderful. The only drawback was that the composting toilet hadn't been used for a long time and wasn't prepared for visitors. Thanks, Christian, we'd love to do it again.
As a small family, we thoroughly enjoyed spending a night here with our camper van. We loved the gentle sounds of nature in this beautiful setting: the cowbells, the buzzing of insects, and the splashing of water. You can fall asleep and wake up to a wonderful view of the swimming pond. The power outlets are easy to use. A wonderful little piece of earth where nature lives quite naturally in all its splendor 🦋🌱
Peace. Nature. Splashing water. Cowbells. And then a refreshing dip in the swimming pond. Thank you!
Such a beautiful oasis in the middle of nature! Everything here is designed very sustainably, from the composting toilet outhouse to the natural filter system of the pond. We enjoyed two days of complete peace and very friendly hosts here. All the more regrettable that dogs are no longer allowed from now on due to the inconsiderate behavior of other guests before us... but understandable. We still hope that we can come back someday. It was so lovely here :)
Very nice and quiet pitch. We liked it very much.
