Obstwiese Ellert

We were lucky enough to spend a week at this peaceful place. Although the site is beautifully designed and close to nature (with sturdy wooden huts for the compost toilet and cold-water shower) and can be quite busy in the summer, we enjoyed privacy and tranquility at pitch number 2. We have rarely seen and heard such biodiversity. Walks and a guided tour with Peter are well worth it. Allergy note for those particularly at risk: the wonderful shade-providing cherry trees naturally attract wasps at this time of year. However, we were able to enjoy our time outdoors and slept fabulously. Many thanks to Peter and Birte for sharing this special place.

Great natural site. Very peaceful and a very friendly host.

The orchard is a truly beautiful, quiet spot in the middle of nature. We were able to start long walks with the dogs right from the doorstep. Claus Peter and Birte are very friendly and kind hosts. We felt very much at home.

Very sweet spot. Tiny, so there was basically nothing going on. We felt right in the middle of nature. Lots of meadow, lots of forest, incredibly quiet, lovely hosts. It was perfect for the three nights!
