One-Night-Camp Höllbach

A beautiful spot in the middle of the forest, truly an experience! Friendly contact and quick responses! Unfortunately, there are extremely many ticks, as is probably the case everywhere in the Black Forest, so don't forget your tick spray etc. ;-)

Der Platz ist mitten im Wald an einem Bach, direkt neben dem Wanderweg. Es ist noch ein zweiter Platz auf der anderen Seite des Weges. Da es sich bei Wanderern ja meist um sehr verträgliche Menschen handelt, ist das sehr schön Auch wir hatten Glück und sehr nette Mitzelter:innen. Das Rauschen des Baches wiegt einen in den Schlaf. Die Kommunikation mit Simone war hervorragend. Sie hat umgehend auf alle Fragen geantwortet.

We were able to switch to Schildbach Camp at the last minute and spent a wonderful night there. Would love to come back! :)

A real advantage is the direct location right on the Albsteig trail. After passing the waterfall, you walk straight past the spot, so you can't miss it. Unfortunately, the site no longer looks like it does in the photos. It seems a storm must have hit, as the surrounding area is very bare. There are still logs and felled wood lying around everywhere. Because of the low temperatures, we would have liked to make a fire in the provided fire bowl, but unfortunately that wasn't possible since neither the bowl nor the firewood were stored under the table, meaning everything was wet. The stream is only a few meters away.

The hosts were very accommodating with everything, and the overnight stay went smoothly!

Tisch und Bank vorhanden, auch gleich eine Stelle am Bach wo man gut an/ins Wasser kommt. Wasserqualität ist gut, ich habe es auch ohne abkochen gut vertragen. Wer schlecht in lauter Umgebung schlafen kann, sollte sich Gehörschutz mitbringen, der Wasserfall ist Recht laut.

Besonders schöner Platz direkt am Wanderweg, Tisch und Bank sind sehr praktisch und eine kleine Badestelle im Bach direkt daneben gibt es auch. Die Kommunikation mit der Gastgeberin war sehr gut und freundlich.
