Öpfel's Campsite by the Pear Tree is a wonderful slice of paradise at the Wieshof, where we would love to warmly welcome you. Our 300+ year-old farm enjoys a secluded location just outside Schienen on the Höri peninsula. Our love for nature and animals inspired us to run the farm in the third generation together with our children, alongside our main jobs. The farm is an inviting place to linger; down in the meadow below the stable, right next to the pear tree, you can pitch your tent and take in the beauty of nature. In the mornings and evenings, countless birds serenade the area, and with a bit of luck, you might even spot deer emerging from the nearby forest. A few meters away, tucked behind the silo, is our camper van pitch. The farm is surrounded by gardens, pastures, a quiet country road, open fields, traditional orchards, and forests. We are home to two donkeys, two goats, a small flock of sheep, and chickens. Children are welcome to use the table tennis table and pedal go-karts (at their own risk). A guest toilet is available 24/7. Since 2025, we have been running "Öpfels", a charming little kiosk located in our distillery. From March to early November, you'll find delicious organic treats such as cookies, snacks, and chilled drinks. We also offer local organic ice cream, cheese and cold cuts from the Höri region, traditional Höri egg noodles, sheepskins from Salenhof, ceramics from the Allgäu, regional "Maultaschen" (stuffed pasta) from Höri Genuss-Manufaktur, local sauces and pesto, firewood, postcards, and lovely souvenirs from Seesucht-Manufaktur Radolfzell. Self-service tea and coffee are available. On weekends, we offer a fresh bread roll delivery service. For travelers, we provide a selection of flyers highlighting local attractions and free brochures on hiking and cycling trails across the Höri peninsula. In front of the kiosk, you'll find wonderful outdoor seating in an idyllic rural setting—the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and savor the moment.
