Romantik am Jakobsweg

Our cozy spot for a camper van or tent borders a nature reserve. This is where the fox and hare say goodnight – a truly tranquil haven! We've even been lucky enough to spot large herds of deer here. The Way of St. James passes just a few meters below the pitch! The beautiful Sihl River is just a few minutes' walk away, and Lake Sihl can be reached in about 15 minutes on foot. Both are perfect for swimming in the summer. The Sihl River here still flows freely in its original form – a true paradise for fly fishermen! We have two bee colonies near the campsite. You won't really notice them, but it's good to know if anyone has allergies. The pitch is still actively used for agriculture. We occasionally stop by to pick up or drop off something from the shed. We, of course, try to do this as discreetly as possible. There's usually firewood available for our campers, but please only use it for grilling and not for a large campfire at night, otherwise, there won't be any left for the next guests ;) It's worth bringing some wood with you, just in case our supply runs out. And please, do not take any wood from the large bundles (Ster) – these are not for campers, but for us in winter ;)
