This location is an excellent starting point for hikes. A popular destination is the Black Forest Railway Adventure Trail with its famous '3-Bahnen-Blick' viewpoint. The town of Triberg is just 7 minutes away, offering shopping facilities as well as the spectacular Triberg Waterfalls.
On-site, you'll also find a fire pit where you can end the day perfectly by a campfire. Complimentary firewood is provided in the boxes at the edge of the forest. Please note that during prolonged dry spells, fires are only permitted after consultation.

A super beautiful spot in the middle of nature with a wonderful panoramic view of the Black Forest. When the sky is clear, there's a super beautiful starry sky. Jens provided us with all the info as well as a video describing how to get to the spot. Many thanks for sharing this beautiful campsite. We'll gladly come back!
Everything was great, it was our second time here, the peace and the view wonderful.
Many thanks Jens for this beautiful pitch! There were two of us on the meadow and we still had plenty of space and privacy. The barbecue spots and the free firewood are really great. And the sunsets, the starry sky and the peace and quiet! We will definitely come back. What a great experience.

Great place, good directions, the shelter is also practical, as it can provide protection despite equipment in very bad weather / too much sun. However, a larger part is sloping, so it's a bit difficult to find a level area for tents there. Jens is very nice and attentive! BUT - unfortunately, it wasn't quite the secluded location as defined. The meadow is large, but due to the noise from another camper, it actually wasn't large enough. Jens can't do anything about the noise, but the second pitch should be pointed out.
