Marbachegg offers fantastic activities for all ages! Sörenberg and the Brienzer Rothorn, Lucerne's highest mountain, are just a 25-minute drive away. We also highly recommend the Foxtrail adventure or a visit to the Kambly factory!

Our dairy farm is located in the Entlebuch Biosphere, at 1,000 meters above sea level. Your campsite is situated about 300m from the farm, on a meadow at the edge of the forest. From here, you can enjoy a wonderful view of the nearby Emmental and the 'Sichle-Vreneli' peaks. A BBQ area with a table and bench is located in the woods right next to the camp. Toilets and dishwashing facilities are available at the farm. Farm-fresh meat can be purchased upon pre-order.

For electricity, please bring your own 50m cable reel. A power connection is only available for one camper. The site is rented to only one party at a time.

Would friends like to join you who don't have camping gear or perhaps prefer a bit of 'glamping' luxury? We also rent out our on-site caravan. We are happy to provide more information.

There is a TV antenna behind your camp. Don't worry: no radiation is measurable at the campsite.

The area is popular for excursions to Marbachegg, Hohgant, Schrattenfluh, Emmental, or Sörenberg. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet or watch the local wildlife. You can also treat yourself to our breakfast service.

The access road is in good condition. If you have an older van with limited power, it might take a bit of nerve, but otherwise, we have powerful vehicles on hand to give you a tow if needed! ;)

Very secluded with no public footpaths nearby, ensuring you'll rarely encounter other people or dogs.

Please remember to bring an extension cord for electricity. Wood and a grill grate are provided at the fire pit, though you may wish to bring your own lighter. A picnic table with a bench is also available in a shaded spot by the fire. Toilet facilities, washing-up areas, and fresh water are located in the main building.

You can purchase IP pasture-raised beef and Alpine pork directly from us. As these are frozen products, please contact us a few days before your arrival to place your order. We also offer a delicious breakfast featuring homemade delicacies upon request. Fresh milk and eggs are always available.

The UNESCO Biosphere Entlebuch has so much to offer! You can easily plan your excursions on the tourism website:

There is plenty to see and do in the surrounding area. Why not stop by the tourist offices in Marbach, Sörenberg, or Langnau? You'll find a charming little ice rink in Langnau, and a visit to the Kambly experience in Trubschachen is always a highlight.

Our region is popular for excursions to Marbachegg, Sörenberg, and Schangnau, offering skiing, cross-country trails, and winter hiking paths. Alternatively, you can simply enjoy the peace and quiet and observe the local wildlife.

The road is cleared in winter and icy patches are gritted. However, it can still be very slippery. 4x4 and good winter tires are a must, and we strongly recommend snow chains. In case of emergency, we have powerful vehicles ready to give you a tow! ;)

Enjoy the peace, the views, and the starry sky. During mushroom season, there are fantastic mushrooms to be gathered. Please be mindful of the picking breaks, and be sure to have your mushrooms checked at the inspection station in Wiggen. If you're in the mood for cheese, stop by Alp Sprützi—it's located just above the camp.

Social Detox? It’s included in the price! You’ll actually have to go hunting for a phone signal here. This secluded, romantic, and beautiful little spot is tucked away in the Hilferntal valley, offering stunning views of the Schrattenfluh. A small stream flows right next to the campsite, and along with the local wildlife, our cows will be the ones wishing you 'goodnight.' On clear nights, a spectacular starry sky is guaranteed.

Please note: This site is only for campers with an onboard toilet that is actually used. Thank you.

The camp is 'pure nature.' Please only use a fire bowl for campfires. Before lighting a fire, check lawa.lu.ch for current fire safety regulations and to see if fires are permitted. Drinking water is available at the fountain by the Alp Ober Mueshütte. You can also freshen up there—but be warned, the water is ice-cold! ;)

The nearest grocery store is located in the village of Marbach. There you will find a local dairy that also sells bread on Sundays, as well as a Volg supermarket. Feel free to ask Lisbeth for jam or syrup—she always has something homemade available! :)
